RULES OF CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE


 
  • Every student in school is expected to be courteous in talk and behaviors. Discourtesy of any kind will not be tolerated.

  • The school reserves the right to admit, suspend or dismiss students. Irregular attendance or habitual want of application to one’s duties unbecoming behaviors or conduct injurious to the moral tone of the school or acts of insubordination to school authorities or any other type of serious misconduct will be sufficient reason for the suspension or dismissal of student.

  • The principal may ask the parents to withdraw pupils who do not comply with the regulations of the school and are not capable of any improvement both in studies and general conduct or if the parents themselves do not co-operate with the school authority.

  • No student will be admitted to the school without the transfer certificate from the school last attended and the same duly countersigned by the concerned education officer.

  • No student will be issued the transfer certificate until all dues, including fines payable to the school.

  • Pupils must attend the school regularly. No pupils shall absent him/her self from the classes without the previous permission of the principal or class teacher. They should reach the school at least five minutes before the first bell. Those who come late to the school will loose their attendance for the day and may be disallowed from attending the days classes.

  • Application for the leave must be attested by the parents or guardians and send to the principal’s office in time. Incase of illness, a medical certificate should be attached. On coming to school after an infectious disease, the student shall bring along with him/her a recovery/fitness certificate from the medical officer concerned.

  • Absence without leave shall render the pupil liable to pay a fine of Rs. 10/- per day. Those who come late to school without sufficient reason and those who fail to produce a letter of explanation from their parents will also be liable to pay a fine of Rs 10/- each time

  • Students who need to go home earlier on a half day leave for genuine reasons, shall apply to the principal , with a letter of request from parents, for obtaining necessary permission, it is necessary that a letter of authority be sent to the school office if parents themselves do not come to take their wards

  • No student shall be allowed to go out or to be taken out of the school premises without obtaining a “gate pass” from the principal. The gate pass will be issued to student if the principal is satisfied with the genuineness of the matter and the identity of the person accompanying him/her.

  • Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more than six consecutive days renders the student liable to have his/her name struck off the roles. Readmission may be granted, only on payment of fresh admission fees.

  • Every student is expected to bring the school diary every day. Any information/request conveyed to the parents/guardians through this diary by the principle/teacher shall be acknowledged and complied with.

  • All students must have the texts books, note book and stationary prescribed for their respective classes and these shall be brought to the school as per their time table. No books, periodicals etc. Other than library books or those related to approved projects, may be brought to the school.

  • Students of one class/section are not allowed to be in another class at any time of the day without authorization. Damage to school property including ink stains and writing on the walls or school furniture must be compensated at the expense of their offender.

  • Cleanliness of person and dress is expected of every student. The school uniform must be clean without any type of decorations, well pressed and complete in every respect. Students coming to school with untidy/incomplete uniforms may be refused admission to the class.

  • All money matters shall be dealt with in the office. Payments of the fees are to be made in cash. No cheque will be accepted at the fee counter

  • Students are expected to take active part in the co-curricular activities, educational tours, picnic etc. Arranged by the school, no exception will be granted to students except for illness or other serious reasons.

  • First and third Saturday will be full working days. All the students shall be present on such days in the sports uniform or their respected houses. Second Saturday will be set apart from parent’s teacher meeting. Forth Saturday will be holiday unless informed otherwise.

  • Mobile phone in the school is not allowed.

  • The school will not take the responsibility of the security of the ward on the way from school to home.

  • Parents are requested not to insist on the school authorities for going to the classes to distribute sweets or other articles on the birthdays as it is not allowed. Parents should not allow their children to celebrate birthdays in the school. Exchange of gifts either with student or teacher is also not allowed. Parents will immediately bring to the notice of principal if they observe their children making collection for any purpose. Parents will not send sweets for distribution in class.

  • Parents are requested to instruct their children not to buy anything from the vendors/hawkers standing either on their way to home or outside the school premises. The school will take strong action in case of non-compliance.

  • The private tuition is discouraged; the parents should not sent their wards for private tuition to the teacher of this school. Strong action will be taken against the students who are fund not complying with this rule.
